DoorsIn a pre-1930s house you'll find one of two types of doors - battened or panelled.
Batterned Doors This type of door has been used at least since the middle ages and remains a popular feature in rural properties up and down the country. Panelled Doors Typically Georgian doors have six panels with pillars either side and Victorian doors have four panels. |
