Winnie the Pooh sails the Thames The River Thames
From Source to Sea

Hampton is a village between Sunbury and Hampton Court. The stretch of river between Sunbury and Hampton Court contains many islands.

Willow trees are a common site along the banks of the Thames.
Their roots help to hold the soil together to prevent erosion.

Garrick's Temple on the Riverside at Hampton was built by the great 18th century actor-manager David Garrick in 1756 to celebrate the genius of William Shakespeare.
